Susquehanna County libraries add 'easy-to-vote' voter machines - WBNG-TV

MONTROSE, Pa (WBNG) -- Susquehanna County libraries are getting ready for voters this fall.

In four libraries across the county, there is an easy to use voter machine. It's one way people will be able to vote in November.

When there, voters use the barcode they received at the machine. They vote using the touchscreen and a card is printed out with the selections.

The voter puts the card in the voter box one voting is complete.

Susan Stone, Susquehanna County Library administrator librarian, says the library is encouraging people to come in to try the machine.

"People who are older sometimes think, 'I have to vote on the ballot,'" Stone said. "But these machines really make it simple and make it quick. You can be in and out in no time at all."

You can find the other voter machines in the libraries in Susquehanna, Hallstead and Forest City.

For information on each library's hours, check out their website.
