Gisele Bündchen said Friday that she and Tom Brady divorced because they simply have “grown apart” after 13 years of marriage.

“With much gratitude for our time together, Tom and I have amicably finalized our divorce,” the former Victoria’s Secret Angel’s Instagram Story statement began.

“My priority has always been and will continue to be our children whom I love with all my heart. We will continue co-parenting to give them the love, care and attention they greatly deserve.”

Bündchen, 42, said that, despite the “difficult” decision to end the marriage, she feels “blessed” for the years they had together and wishes the famed NFL quarterback “the best.”

She concluded her message by asking for privacy as the family navigates this difficult time.

The now-former couple confirmed Friday morning that they had already finalized their “painful” divorce. Brady, 45, simultaneously released an Instagram Story statement, saying he and the Brazilian model “arrived at this decision amicably.”

The famed quarterback also said in a statement that he and the former Victoria’s Secret Angel reached the decision to divorce “amicably.”

“We are blessed with beautiful and wonderful children who will continue to be the center of our world in every way,” he wrote.

Bündchen and Brady share son Benjamin, 12, and daughter Vivian, 9. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers player also shares son 15-year-old son Jack with ex Bridget Moynahan.

“We wish only the best for each other as we pursue whatever new chapters in our lives that are yet to be written,” the athlete continued, concluding by echoing his ex-wife’s request for privacy.

Page Six broke the news on Oct. 4 that both parties had hired divorce lawyers and were working out details of the split, including “who gets what and what the finances will be” after the pair entered an epic fight about Brady reneging on his decision to retire from the NFL in March.

“There’s been trouble in the marriage over his decision to un-retire,” a source previously said. “Gisele has always been the one with the kids.”

While the duo worked out their divorce and their settlement, Bündchen remained in Miami with her two kids, where she’s been seen at a pumpkin patch. Earlier this month, Bündchen was also spotted spiritually cleansing her car with help from a holistic healer.
