Have you tried a few medicines for your epilepsy, but they haven’t stopped your seizures? Have you ever wondered if you should ask your doctor if epilepsy surgery or a device is right for you? Have you been told you have drug-resistant epilepsy?

Drug-resistant epilepsy occurs when a person has failed to become and stay seizure free with adequate trials of two anti-seizure medications. If your epilepsy is drug resistant, it is important to be seen by an epilepsy specialist at a comprehensive epilepsy center to evaluate why, and if there are better treatment options.

Join us on Facebook on Wednesday, November 18th at 7:00 p.m. ET to hear about difficult to control seizures, some possible treatment considerations, and how you can get connected with an epilepsy center. Bring your questions and we’ll share resources from the Epilepsy Foundation.
