Dyson saw its profit soar in 2020, helped by the launch of its new Corrale hair straightener.
Despite struggling with disruption to its supply chain and operations caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the vaccum cleaner company recorded underlying profits of £1.3bn, up 18% from 2019, while revenue grew 6% to £5.7bn, the Daily Mail reported.
"Quite simply, 2020 was the most difficult year I can remember, and Dyson faced up to very difficult challenges. Early in the year, we had to completely change all our plans and fundamentally reshape the business," founder James Dyson was cited as saying.
