We love to expand our home mixology repertoire with a dramatic "I can't believe you made this yourself" kind of cocktail, but let's be honest, sometimes all you want when you come in from a long day is to put together something quick, easy, and delicious for your own personal cocktail hour. Fortunately, you don't need a lot of specialty ingredients or fancy techniques to make a stand out drink. In fact, with just three or four pantry and bar cart staples, you can make a whole bevy of simply irresistible cocktails, from timeless classics to brand new tastes. Here are a few of our favorites.

Gin & Tonic
Ingredients
2 oz gin
4 oz tonic water
Herbs and spices for garnish
Instructions
Add gin to a glass with ice and top with tonic water. Gently stir to combine. Garnish with aromatics of your choice if you wish.
Monkey Jam Sour
Ingredients
2 oz Monkey Shoulder Scotch
.75 oz lemon juice
2 tsp jam or marmalade
1 dash orange bitters
Instructions
Combine ingredients in a shaker tin with ice, shake and double-strain over fresh ice. Garnish with an orange twist.
Old Fashioned
Ingredients
2 oz bourbon or rye whiskey
2 dashes Angostura bitters
1 sugar cube or 1 tsp sugar
Instructions
Put sugar in glass. Cover it with dashes of bitters. Add whiskey and stir until sugar dissolves. Add ice, stir again, and serve with an orange twist.
1.5 oz Farmer’s Organic Gin
1.5 oz fresh grapefruit juice
.25 oz simple syrup
2 rosemary sprigs
Instructions
Saving 1 sprig of rosemary for garnish, combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake until well chilled and double strain into a martini glass. Garnish with a sprig of rosemary.
3 oz gin or vodka
.5 oz dry vermouth
Lemon peel or olive
Instructions
Stir liquor and vermouth in a mixing glass with ice. Strain into chilled martini glass. Squeeze oil from lemon peel into the glass or garnish with olive.
Moscow Mule
Ingredients
2 oz vodka
4 to 6 oz ginger beer
.5 oz lime juice
Instructions
Squeeze lime juice into a copper mug. Add two or three ice cubes, pour in the vodka, and fill with cold ginger beer. Stir and serve.
The Marble Queen
Ingredients
1.5 oz Milagro Tequila
1 oz Coco Lopez cream of coconut
.5 lime juice
Instructions
Combine all ingredients and shake over ice. Serve with a salted or spiced rim.

Aperol Spritz
Springtime in Cognac
Ingredients
1.5 oz Frapin 1270 cognac
.5 oz lemon juice
.5 oz honey syrup (equal parts honey & water)
1 large strawberry
Sparkling rosé
Instructions
Muddle strawberry and add cognac, lemon, and honey syrup into a shaker tin with ice. Shake and strain into a glass. Top with sparkling rosé.

Daiquiri
Ingredients
2 oz light rum
1 oz simple syrup
1 oz lime juice
Instructions
Shake ingredients with ice and strain into cocktail glass. Garnish with lime wheel.
