A winter storm moving its way through the area is expected to bring several inches of snow southeast Wisconsin, with some areas possibly seeing as much as 9 or 10 inches.

9:16 a.m. -- Big snow total reports coming in
Here's a look at the latest snow total reports, from Marisa Woloszyn. Thiensville is the winner so far, with 10 inches of snow. Lake effect snow is expected to continue until Sunday evening for those near the lakefront.
8:51 a.m. -- Roads are still snow-covered in Bay View
8:37 a.m. -- Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office gives service calls update

8:19 a.m. -- Oak Creek declares snow emergency
The City of Oak Creek has declared a snow emergency beginning at 7 a.m. Sunday and ending at 6 a.m. Monday. During this time, no vehicles are allowed to be parked on city streets. Vehicles may be ticketed or towed.
Several other area communities also have snow emergencies in place (including Milwaukee, posted just below). Here's a list as of the 8 a.m. hour Sunday:
8:10 a.m. -- City of Milwaukee declares snow emergency, requiring alternate side parking
A snow emergency was declared for the City of Milwaukee on Sunday after a winter storm dropped several inches of snow onto the area.
During this snow emergency, parking rules have changed so if you're not sure where you can park and when here's what you need to know:
Between the hours of 10 p.m. and 6 a.m., no parking is allowed on arterial roadways. To see what arterial roadways do not allow any parking, click here.
Any Milwaukee resident who parks on a side street overnight must move their vehicle to the ODD numbered side of the street by 10 p.m. Sunday.
Because Monday is the first of the month and also an odd-numbered day, the Department of Public Works will resume regular parking regulations on Monday night.
Then on Tuesday night the snow emergency will resume, and people must move their cars to the EVEN side of the street by 10 p.m. See more here.

4:11 a.m. -- Milwaukee Sheriff's Office gives early morning update
Deputies with the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office responded to more than 50 disabled vehicle calls in a span of just 10 hours overnight:

National Weather Service reminds residents about the dangers of heavy snow
Winter storm warning issued for various SE Wisconsin counties
A winter storm warning has been issued for several southeast Wisconsin counties, including Kenosha, Racine, Washington, Ozaukee, Milwaukee, Walworth and Waukesha counties. The warning will be in effect from 6 p.m. Saturday to 6 p.m. Sunday.
City of Kenosha issues snow emergency
The City of Kenosha is declaring a snow emergency. The emergency will be in effect from 9 p.m. Saturday to 3 p.m. Monday, Feb. 1.
Parking will be prohibited on all City of Kenosha streets during the snow emergency.
City of Racine declares snow emergency
The City of Racine has declared a snow emergency ahead of a winter storm this weekend. The emergency will be in place from 12 a.m. Jan. 31 through 11 p.m. Jan. 31.
No parking will be allowed on arterial/collector streets.
