CEDARVILLE, Ohio - The Yellow Jackets look to face multiple challenges in the men's basketball schedule during the 2021-22 season.
There will be obstacles at every turn including a Division I exhibition, two road tournaments, and a demanding G-MAC gauntlet.
Head Coach Pat Estepp has scheduled the University of Dayton for the third consecutive season in an exhibition contest set for Nov. 1.
Cedarville was the first opponent in the newly-remodeled UD Arena in 2019 before the 2020 rematch was canceled thanks to Covid.
The campaign officially opens at the Midwest Region Crossover in Quincy, Ill. on Nov. 12-13. The Jackets' first assignment is Truman State followed by a date with the host Hawks.
The home opener is Nov. 22 against Southern Indiana. The first G-MAC opponent in the Callan Athletic Center is league newcomer Ashland on Dec. 4.
No less than 11 of the first 14 games are on the road including a trip to the Florida Southern Classic on Dec. 18-19.
Defending G-MAC regular season champion Hillsdale will be on campus Dec. 11 and reigning tournament champion Malone visits on Jan. 15.
Cedarville finished 12-9 overall and 10-8 G-MAC last winter including a runner-up showing in the G-MAC Tournament.
